MUSIC BIO:

Arianna began Teravioles in the Fall of 2000 upon buying a cheap, old Kay acoustic/electric guitar and moving to Atlanta. She and best friend Adeeba Lodhi watched Pineal Ventana and Caspar Hauser perform a riveting live show at Eyedrum Art & Music Gallery.
Inspired, she and vocalist Lodhi met and collaborated with various Atlanta underground musicians, including Damon Young (Changelings) and Matthew Huck Proctor (Caspar Hauser, Black Blacks, Hubcap City). Two full-length albums were produced in their home studio during this time, Nitemares of the Southeast (2001) and Sea Floor Spreading (2002). They performed occasionally at Eyedrum and had a song, "3 am Raw Mastodon", featured in IBOL Records Magazine #4.
After a hiatus in 2003 and 2004, Arianna began playing out by herself and recording a new set of demos. Performances started happening, primarily at Kirkwood Baller's Club at Lenny's with old and new collaborators, such as Lodhi, Proctor, Jennie Castillo, Jason Pratt, and Nathan Brown. The resulting CD, Demos of 05, came out in various forms in the summer/fall of 2005, a mix of bedroom songs and live recordings from Lenny's.
Two albums have been created and recorded between Fall 2005 and Summer 2007. The "urban" album is Found Objects of Desire which has been produced by Melissa Lonely who also plays drums and features various members of Small Framed Boy and other collaborators. It was officially self-released in August 2007 and involves several small narratives, mostly written in 2005 and 2007. The "rural" album was written in Summer 2006 in the Florida panhandle and is called Look Alive by the Dead Lakes. Jonathan Lueke has produced a version of this album, also featuring Kat H (Mars Killed Mary) on viola. It will be released soon, hopefully Fall 2007.
As of May 2007 all live performances are as "Arianna Sykes Found Objects of Desire."
